Catuso has scoured the globe seeking the highest quality, most durable sandstone and limestone tiles that can withstand harsh Canadian weather conditions. Our imported product is high in quartz and geologist tested, and available in more colors and finishes than any other supplier. And unlike certain slates, shale and concrete, which will break and deteriorate with time, our stone can withstand water and freezing and ages beautifully.

Our stone is sourced directly from a professionally managed Indian quarry. All staff is professionally trained, educated, properly compensated – and over 18. The quality of workmanship that results unparalleled, and the exceptional skill of our partners means that we can carve our stone into almost any shape you desire. Catuso’s stone is also environmentally friendly. Our all-natural product is less energy-intensive than comparable concrete solutions, and contains no chemicals.

Building Stone: Transform the look of your home with building stone. Our stone is all-natural, and has been tested in even the most extreme Canadian winters. It comes in a variety of colors and finishes that age beautifully. Our outdoor stone is perfect for the following: Four Inch block stone, Veneer stone, Lintel Ledgers and Balastrads.
Interior Stones: Our interior stone is most often used for tiles, which serve as functional flooring or exquisite accent walls. However, we also use it to create custom pieces such as sinks, natural stone fireplaces, stone veneer fireplace and water features. Whether your style is modern or traditional, we can custom carve pieces in a full array of colors and textures.
French flooring: Enjoy the elegance of days gone by. These European tiled floors are recovered from bourgeois houses and period buildings around Western Europe. These vintage floors, many from the height of the Art Nouveau period, are imported and installed upon request. We have several floors in stock; please inquire about availability and pricing.
Stone Types, Finishes and Colors:
Catuso offers an exceptional selection of stone products. They are of the highest quality, and available in more colors and finishes than any other stone solution.
Types: Our products are mostly made of sandstone, but unlike the softer sandstone popular during the turn of the century; our imported stone has very high quartz content. This ensures exceptional durability, as tested by geologists. We also offer five limestone choices, and four softer sandstones, appropriate for custom carved pieces.
Finishes: To create a unique piece every time, you can choose from a variety of finishes including cut, hand-chipped, tumbled or pillowed.
Colors: We offer our stone in 16 colors - more than any other stone provider. Because our stone is all-natural, there may be a variance in color from the samples shown here. Certain types of stone offer greater color variance, as indicated by the legend: Stellar, Flax, Cinder, Baja and many more.
